In 2014 Molly Ginnelly turned her life around with the help of a Dunfermline jogging group by working with her fellow runners to help raise money for a Scottish charity which supports people with depression. Molly, then 37 years old, turned to exercise to battle depression and joined the Dunfermline jogscotland group for additional help and support. When Action on Depression contacted jogscotland to ask for help with fund-raising the Group members got together and organised their own relay race around Townhill Loch. Other individual members including Molly herself collected sponsorship by taking part in organised races throughout the year. JogCowdenbeath also helped with fundraising by organising a social evening and a highly unusual but immensely enjoyable beach run. In September 2014 jogscotland members presented the charity with a cheque for £2355 at the Dell Farquharson Community Centre.
