In 2014 I put forward for Muscular Dystrophy to be the Jog Scotland Dunfermline’s Charity fund raising choice for the year. The reason being that our Son Daniel has Duchenne MD, which affects boys and Daniel has been an inspiration to us.
The sum of £1,027.00 was raised over the year with the help of members of Jog Scotland Dunfermline and JogCowdenbeath. Individual JSD members raised sponsorship by taking part in various race events and a hill walking challenge. Other running and social events organised by Jog Scotland Dunfermline and JogCowdenbeath also contributed greatly to the funds raised. I contacted the Charity Fundraiser Dean Widd and asked him if he would like to come along and collect the cheque, he was more than happy to come. It was lovely to see him.
I wish to thank all those from Jog Scotland Dunfermline and JogCowdenbeath for the great effort that they put in to raising funds for this very worthwhile Charity.
